Move It Storage on Brownswitch Rd. in Slidell, LA

I called last week and spoke with Denise. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and told me to call back if I think of anymore questions. I see that customer service is important to this employee.

Set up was simple online. My 1st exp. w/using one of these. Couldn’t get the rusted door to open initially, so a lady came out to help me, but was condescending. Now, I know how to step down on the door handle and then pull up on it. Live & learn. The unit serves the purpose well.

Very pleasant indeed. A well lighted facility and great customer service from staff personnel. Grounds around storage grounds to be well cleaned and tidy. First rate facility that offer climate control storage and non climate controlled storage. Hardly a speck of debree or garbage. A mixture of small, mid size and large storage units. Whatever your storage needs you will find it at Slidell. LA Move it storage. We We as they say.

Everything was fine, but except I paid for climate control and its not working from day one.

Easy to sign up for a storage unit, place your lock on your unit and your done.

My experience with Move It Self Storage in Slidell was a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. From every phone call I had with Brittany and Crystal (sorry if spellings are incorrect) to the actually physical meetings, everything was handled with professionalism, patience, and caring. The actual moving in experience has been excellent also with ease of access to carts. etc. I would recommend this to anyone who needs storage. I have a climate controlled unit, and it is excellent. Thank you, especially, Brittany for your personal service!

This company was a breeze to rent from. Online payments make it easy to pay monthly rent. The facility is clean, pest controlled. My unit is easily accessed, and totally secured. What more could a person want?

A clean and secure storage facility is what one should expect. A staff that is professional and easy to work with *at* a clean and secure storage facility with fair rental prices is the exception. Our outdoor unit had never been affected by any and all weather and our climate secure unit has always been convenient and kept our more climate-sensitive property in good condition.

The last reviewer is so wrong . Must have a bad attitude. Every Hurricane season for the past several years I rent space there ,to store my motorcycle in case we are hit by a storm. I dealt with that same dark hair Lady and she could not be more professional ,polite and pleasant with me. She is always ready to accommodate all your need. BEST STORAGE place in Slidell . I will be back next year and the years after.....

Too pricey for the space you rent

I have had a great experince with Move It and Crystal (the Manager of this location). The ladies who work at this location are professional and try to help with any needs you may have. The lady who posted above (Shawan Williams) must have not pay her bill for a long time on her unit for it to be auctioned the very next day. I am sure Move It has protocol and this could not have happened the way she posted it. Anyway, I am happy with my choice of Storage and I have not had any problems. But I pay my bill on time. The facility is clean and is gated for security.
