All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

Move-It Self Storage is a very convenient location in Richmond, Texas with easy access to 59 and 99. It is very clean and the units are large (tall on the inside). The ease of renting a space was so easy. The staff is extra friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and the price is very good as well!

The storage facility has been great! We have had our unit for 20 years but have just given it up due to price increases. For many years we could “borrow” a moving truck for limited mileage and return it with gas at no cost. Now we have to pay for gas and mileage and use of the truck. Even tho we only drove 2-3 miles and returned it with the same amt of gas we were still charged $13 in addition to the rental fee plus tax for a total of over $30 for 2 miles and 3 hours. Not happy! Glad we’re done with storage units!

Move It made my decision to rent storage so easy. I secured the space online and conveniently was sent my access information. I then loaded items into my space ASAP. All of this took place within a 2 hour window. Great service from the employees from Move It. Because I was so quick to move into my space, the entry code had not updated. The employees helped me access the gate. I appreciated the assistance!
I went here to help a client move her belongings in here. It's a beautiful place not gone lie. But something I've noticed these places don't change the lock wen you move in. We spent 2 hours loading up her truck and we got there and they never took the look off and wen went threw alot to locate someone to fix the problem. We eventually got in but it cost my client money because my job charges by the hour. And also way to much security to have to go threw wen ur moving alot of stuff. I mean if u have 2 people to hold the doors and constantly punch in a bunch of numbers every time u go out the door go for it . Definitely clean well kept .

I love it. Very clean no bugs or other pest. People are very friendly. Climate control is at a decent temp, although the top floor gets a little warm sometimes. But as far as I know it doesn't have leaks when it rains. Very safe even at night.

We needed a home for our things during a move. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the property manager Jason! A professional gentleman that made my fiancé and I very comfortable about our choice in his establishment. He personally showed up to our unit, which was extremely clean in a very secure location. We were pleased to find out that there were lights in the halls for the units and cameras on our units at all times. We are very pleased to be in business with this establishment and will recommend them to everyone we know. This will be our storage facility in our future endeavors.

Jason the property manager is great and very friendly. He explains in details about the cost upfront and is very informative about the process. We also chose this facility because it has easy access to highway. Security protocol is sound. Facility lighting seems adequate at night as well. I will revise my feedback once I moved in.
I can't say enough about this facility but more specifically the manager, Jason. I needed a unit very quickly and I wasn't sure of the size that would best suit my needs. I was in a really bad place and having an even worse day. Jason was very kind and personable and made sure I go the best unit to fit my needs. Had a good experience with this company preparing to move. The manager Jason helped make U-Haul reservation and suggest different boxes for household items. He called the day before to leg us know the U-Haul would be ready and when we arrived the next day it was ready to go with the dolly and we were able to pick it up quick and get to packing. He was very helpful in preparing for our move.
